Six New full mobile operators in Spain.
Expanding your business in the Iberian Peninsula

On June 29th, Spain's Industry Ministry launched its mobile spectrum auction across three frequency bands: 800 MHz, 900 MHz and 2.6 GHz. This auction raised 1.65 billion
euros, above the minimum 1.45 billion euro price set by the government. The largest three mobile operators Telefonica , Vodafone and France Telecom's
Orange split valuable extra radio frequencies, crucial to allow them to meet growing demand for data use on smartphones and tablets (24% data traffic growth in 1Q11 -
source: CMT.es).
Another important outcome was the creation of 6 regional full mobile operators (all with MVNO activities already).
